Delivery to “UK mainland” is free of charge on all orders over £135.00 plus vat.
Any deliveries required outside of the UK mainland will be subject to a delivery charge. This will be dependant on location. You must contact the office for delivery quotation.
Stock Items are aimed for delivery within 4 working days. Processed Items please allow 5-7 days for delivery. All dates specified are approximate and are subject to change.
Steel beams direct will not accept any liability for losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods.
Please note that you as the customer take full responsibility for the unloading of material and must provide sufficient means of unloading up on delivery
For your security, all materials and deliveries should be signed for upon receipt. It is the customers responsibility to check to good prior to unloading. Any damage caused during unloading is down to the customer and steel beams direct hold no responsibility for goods damaged during unloading.
In the unlikely event of receiving damaged goods, Steel beams direct ask that a photo is taken prior, during and after unloading to ensure your complaint is investigated effectively. Failure to do so may require material to be re ordered at the cost to the customer. All Materials should be signed for as “Received in good condition”. Any materials signed for “received unchecked” will be disregarded as it is the responsibility of the customer to check goods as they arrive. Steel beams direct will not be held accountable for damaged goods once the delivery has been signed for “received in good condition”.
Customers have 2 working days to report all damaged goods and issues to steel beams direct. This includes damaged goods, good ordered in error, faulty goods and goods lost in transport. Failure to do so may result in the material having to be re ordered at a cost to the customer. If inadequate evidence is provided, steel beams direct reserve the right to dismiss any claim for lost, damaged and missing goods.
